No Bake Strawberry Shortcake Dessert #desserts #cakerecipe #chocolate #fingerfood #easy

This strawberry shortcake dessert formula is going to turn into your top choice, since it's the most straightforward strawberry shortcake for a group you'll ever make.

This one is ideal for getting you in the springtime state of mind: Strawberry Shortcake Dessert Lush. It has layers of pudding, whipped cream, and strawberries. Simply give me a fork.

Chick-lit Murder Mysteries. I've been perusing at any rate one per week through Kindle Unlimited. My latest top pick: Sleep Tight by Rachel Abbott.

What's more, one final thing I'm fixated on this moment? No-prepare layered treats. Mud Pie, Mint, Pumpkin, Lemon… I've made a huge amount of them over the previous year. I like to call them rich pastries. Or on the other hand I like to consider myself a rich, since I can't quit eating them.

Here in California, it's consistently strawberry season, which is something worth being thankful for. Jordan enjoys around 3 natural products: strawberries, raspberries, and apples. Fortunately I can locate every one of the three all year.

INGREDIENTS

  •  1 box — 3.4 oz/96g vanilla instant pudding
  •  1 1/2 cups 266ml nonfat milk
  •  1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  •  25 Golden Oreos — or another vanilla flavored cookie/graham cracker
  •  2 tablespoons 28g unsalted butter, melted
  •  12 ounces 510g Cool Whip Topping (see note about using fresh whipped cream)
  •  1 pound fresh strawberries — hulled and sliced and patted dry

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Whisk pudding, milk, and vanilla in a medium sized bowl. Let it sit while you prepare the crust.
  2. Crush the cookies in a large gallon sized ziploc bag using a rolling pin. Reserve 1/2 cup of the cookie crumbs. Place the 2 tablespoons melted butter in the bag and press with your hands to work the butter through the remaining cookie crumbs. Pour crumbs into a 9” square baking dish. The crust won’t be solid, it’ll stay crumbly.
  3. Fold 8 ounces of the whipped topping into the pudding. Place half the pudding mixture on top of the crust. Place the strawberries in a single layer over the pudding. Spread remaining pudding mix over the top of the berries. Top with more whipped topping and sprinkle the remaining cookies over the top.
  4. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
