I am SO eager to impart this formula to all of you today! I know the blogging scene is tied in with Thanksgiving plans and insane liberal treats for the Holidays however family's still need to have supper, right?! This moderate cooker Asian sesame chicken is effectively one of the least difficult supper plans yet you could never at any point know it when you taste it.
4 Ingredients as it were! That is my sort of feast with zero prep, no pre cooking, and something I can put in the moderate cooker toward the beginning of the day (when things aren't insane yet at the house 🙂 ) and after that when it's dinnertime everything is finished!
The best piece of this is it makes it's own sauce that is sweet and salty and simply heavenly. Serve a bit of chicken over some rice and after that sprinkle some additional coating over top. I adore serving it with a side of veggies. I extend purchase a microwaveable pack of blended veggies. Too straightforward and no grimy dishes!
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup asian sesame seed salad dressing (I use the Kraft brand)
- 1/3 cup apricot preserves
- 1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
- chopped green onions & sesame seeds, for garnish
- Spray slow cooker insert with cooking spray. Lay chicken in bottom of slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the Asian sesame salad dressing, apricot preserves, and onion soup mix packet. Stir together with a fork and pour over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 5-7 hours.
- Serve over cooked rice (brown or white), or quinoa. Drizzle with sauce from the slow cooker and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
