The present post is devoted to my dear companion Joan of the blog Chocolate and then some. A week ago, my sweet companion Joan died of a coronary episode in her rest. She was in her late 40s and still so loaded with life. This appalling occasion has left me, the blogging network and obviously her family in destruction. She deserted 3 charming children, which as a mother of 3 myself, complete pulls and pulls at my heartstrings even more. Her demise came as a total stun and to be very legitimate, I am still in stun about it. Joan was such an enormous piece of the nourishment blogging network and was consistently the first to expand her turn in her insight and fellowship. She was such a thoughtful individual and truly made it a point to make everybody feel like a decent companion of hers. Its so insane to me, that somebody I have just had online communication with through this insane blogging venture, could turn out to be such a dear and awesome companion of mine. Joan was among the greats and will be awfully missed by all who had the benefit of knowing her and by the individuals who making the most of her astonishing plans.

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 4½ to 5 cups powdered sugar
- 4 Tablespoon cocoa
- 1 teaspoons vanilla
- 5 Tablespoons heavy cream or milk, I prefer heavy cream
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a medium bowl combine butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, vanilla, cream/milk, and salt and beat for 5-7 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add more powdered sugar to thicken and stiffen up frosting or more cream/milk to thin frosting out depending on use. If you are frosting cookies or a cake use less powdered sugar.
